The people of Vu Dien and Chan Ly have preserved and conserved the material and intangible cultural values, reconstructed the ritual process, performed water procession, traditional games, and folk singing and dancing that have existed since ancient times.
The temple ceremony involves a chief officiant, assistant officiants, ritual attendants, and a female ceremonial team. Offerings include sticky rice, meat, wine, betel leaves, areca nuts, incense, and fruits. Following the ceremonial procession is the "Bat nha" (synchronized singing and dancing) in front of the temple. In the evening, lanterns and floating flowers are released on the river, and traditional performances and "cheo" singing take place. The next day, the villagers travel on two dragon boats to the middle of the river to perform a ceremony, requesting the blessings of Lady Perfume and bringing water back to offer to the deities and Buddhas.
