Ha Nam places a significant emphasis on promoting industrial development in the province

In recent years, Ha Nam has consistently achieved rapid and continuous development, with the industrial sector being the highest contributor. Looking towards 2030, the province aims to become one of the leading provinces in the northern region in industrial development.

With the goal of making the industrial sector the main driver of growth, the provincial leadership has issued various policies and resolutions to boost industry, focusing on high-tech industries, supporting industries, manufacturing, and modern industrial development services. To achieve this, in addition to leveraging existing advantages in geographical location, Ha Nam has focused on improving a comprehensive and modern system of economic, technical, and social infrastructure, particularly in transportation. Key transportation projects include the construction of connecting roads from National Highway 1A to the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway, roads connecting the Hanoi - Hai Phong and Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressways, and the investment project to build parallel roads to National Highway 21, among others. Simultaneously, efforts are made to strengthen and enhance the quality of infrastructure and support services for industrial development, including electricity, water supply, drainage, waste treatment, logistics, and worker housing in industrial zones.

Moreover, the province is keen on developing industrial zones and high-tech zones. They are accelerating the planning process, infrastructure construction, attracting investment, and improving the efficiency of existing and potential industrial zones by maximizing advantages in transportation infrastructure and logistic services. Currently, there are a total of 8 established industrial zones covering 940 hectares, with plans to establish new industrial zones covering a total area of 3,200 hectares. Notably, with the principle of "accompanying businesses," leaders at all levels closely monitor and address difficulties promptly during the production and business activities of enterprises.

Additionally, Ha Nam focuses on promoting investment and attracting large corporations with potential in technology and finance, gradually realizing the goal of greening production. Recently, the province has successfully organized investment promotion activities in several countries, maintaining Ha Nam's position among the top provinces nationwide in attracting foreign direct investment. The provincial leadership also advocates calling for other major investors to develop tourism and resorts, combining shopping, making it an attractive destination for tourists both domestically and internationally. Several major corporations such as Vingroup, Sungroup, and Flamingo have already shown interest and invested in Ha Nam.

Furthermore, Ha Nam places emphasis on developing the workforce to meet both quantity and quality requirements. Specific measures include implementing comprehensive solutions for human resources, enhancing training quality, and improving the quality of labor. The Nam Cao University area, with a planned area of 912 hectares, is a prominent example designed to ensure coherence and is currently attracting university investment and construction units. Presently, the Construction University and FPT University have become operational, serving as a compelling factor for attracting investors, especially in high-tech projects, and high-quality skilled labor residing in the province.

On the path to realizing the dream of being among the top industrial provinces in the northern region, with specific policies and practical initiatives, Ha Nam has achieved certain successes and promises further advancements in the near future. Let's look forward to a completely new Ha Nam!
