Traditional rituals such as the Ceremony of asking for the tutelary god at Doi Tam communal house, the water procession ceremony, the worshiping ceremony at the Than Nong altar, and the peace praying ceremony at Doi Pagoda are still maintained and take place every year. In addition, the festival also includes a buffalo painting and decoration contest, sports activities, folk games, and art performances combining traditional rituals taking place over 2 days from January 5 to 6. And the 7th day will be the main day of the festival, the palanquin procession of Doi village departs from the village communal house to welcome the ancestors of the drum making profession, then proceeds to procession the Elder Saint, and finally welcomes the spirit of King Le Dai Hanh from Doi pagoda. down. The opening ceremony of Tich Dien festival opened with a drum performance, dragon dancing, elders reading documents, and an incense offering ceremony to the altar of Than Nong and the spirit of King Le. The Saint Tran Ceremony at Tran Thuong Temple is one of the events that local people and tourists are especially waiting for at the beginning of the year. The ceremony takes place between the 13th and 15th of the first lunar month. Before the Phat Luong festival, from the 6th, the temple held a ceremony to ask Saint Tran to allow the people to hold the festival. On the 12th, the entire Tran Hung Dao commune performed a water procession ceremony to prepare for the festival. During the 3 main days of the festival, on the 13th the salary procession into the temple is held. On the night of the 14th, administrative and spiritual rituals took place, and from 11 p.m. on the same day, the salary distribution ceremony officially began, bringing joy and welfare to people as well as tourists from all over. The traditional Luong Phat Ceremony does not have a festival, however, to create attraction and stimulate people's spirit, Ly Nhan District People's Committee decided to organize a Light Festival from the 11th to 13th lunar day. On the 14th, Ha Nam Cheo Art Troupe will perform to enrich the festival atmosphere. According to the plan, Tran Thuong Temple is expected to prepare about 100,000 salary bags to serve the spiritual needs of people and tourists from everywhere during the festival.
