The Tien Ong Temple

The temple is known as extremely sacred despite going through many events, has been severely damaged by a fierce war, and the statue cannot be touched. Ong Temple was built in a triangular structure with hundreds of majestic and magnificent Buddha statues with such ancient and majestic features.
Built during the reign of King Tran Nhan Tong, the temple has 5 front compartments, 3 middle compartments, and 1 harem. Each compartment in the temple is built variously with softly curved dragons, and arched arches. From there, it was the meticulous investment in the construction of this temple.
According to legend, many kings and lords such as Le Thai To, Le Du Tong, Trinh Doanh, Trinh Tung, Trinh Sam, and Mac Phuc Hai have all visited the temple. And Le Quy Don is also known to be the son of Tien Ong.

On the full moon in June the two villages of Thinh Dai and Quang Thua hold a solemn festival to honor Tien Ong's accomplishments, drawing numerous guests from all over the world to attend.

The Ong pagoda

In front of the Tien Ong temple is a sizable semicircular lake with 320 acres of year-round, blue water and an average depth of 4-5 meters. Visitors can take a boat tour around the lake or just relax in the cool air. People said there used to be an Ong Pagoda in the middle of this lake, but that it was destroyed by a significant flood, leaving only a crystal-clear lake filled with a wide variety of fish.

The Tam Giao pagoda

Visitors will proceed down the mountainside to the Tam Giao Pagoda, a temple with numerous imposing statues that is situated at the base of the mountain. In this place, there are a lot of mystical and holy tales, like the one about the stream that provides the monks with food and money, or when they are building a temple the rice is always full.

The pagoda is shaped like the word Dinh,  there are 5 worship halls and a harem, the great priest has 8 roofs that are covered in male tiles and have matches stacked on top of them.  The temple has recently undergone restoration and has been reopened for visitors to come and worship.

The Tam Giao Pagoda served as both the military headquarters during the French Resistance War. Since it was built until now, the temple has gone through a lot of things because of how nature has affected it and because humans have overused it and caused degradation.

Kieu pagoda

From the side of Tam Giao Pagoda, go up and down, you will reach Kieu Pagoda. Chua Kieu pagoda is located on the top of a high mountain, from here can cover a large area to the southeast of Tuong Linh commune. However, due to many years of struggle, the pagoda is currently only composed of the foundation and a tiny cave 10 m2 wide. There are three steles carved into the cliffs along the way. A square stone block with a smooth surface next to the cave bears the Chinese inscription “ Nhat nguyet truong quang”.

Van Mong pagoda

The temple is situated in the middle of a mountain that has fantastical caves such as Doi cave, Bac cave, Vang cave,... which are wide and deep. To the west of the pagoda is Hai Qua mountain, in this mountain there is a bat cave. Currently, only the foundation, the stele carved into the cliffs, the incense bowl made of stone, and the stone pillar supporting the pillar's foot are still visible. The pagoda was also mentioned in the history books of the scholar Le Quy Don and connected to the Ly king's spiritual event.

Additionally, there were Ba, Dau, Bong, and Ca pagodas in the old Bat Canh Son area, but now there are no longer any remnants because of what was bound to happen over time. But it is still an eco-cultural tourist destination that draws visitors for exploration and worship due to the picturesque surroundings and serene ambiance.
